City of Kings: A History of NYC Graffiti (Part 1)

Conceived by Al Diaz, and curated by Diaz, Eric DEAL Felisbret and Mariah Fox and held at Howl! Arts in New York City. The museum styled exhibition features a timeline spanning from the movement’s birth in the late 1960s to present day. It is supplemented with multiple video screens and display cases featuring ephemera and archival materials from dozens of notable artists and historians including Charlie Ahearn, Keith Baugh, Henry Chalfant, Coco 144, Martha Cooper, Flint Gennari, KR ONE, John CRASH Matos, Marc Miller, NIC ONE, Luna Park, Chris FREEDOM Pape and SPAR ONE.
